The Ibero-American WWW/Internet 2024 conference aims to focus on the main aspects related to the WWW and the Internet. The WWW and the Internet have experienced significant growth in recent years. Concerns are no longer focused solely on technological aspects and there is a notable awakening to other aspects. This conference aims to address both technological and non-technological aspects related to this development.

The conference has several Types of Contributions:

  • Long Articles  – Research papers with results/finalized. Maximum of 8 pages (5,000 words).
  • Short Articles  – Ongoing or recently developed research papers. Maximum of 4 pages (2,500 words).
  • Reflection Papers – These may review the literature relevant to a particular problem or approach, indicate what the findings suggest, and/or provide a logical and well-argued suggestion for different approaches and perspectives on a given problem. Reflection papers may also analyze general trends or discuss important aspects of WWW/Internet-related topics. They are a maximum of 4 pages (2,500 words).
  • Posters/Demos  – These contain implementation or work-in-progress information in two pages maximum (1250 words), in addition to the Poster or Demonstration to be displayed at the conference.
  • Tutorials  – These can be presented by academics or company representatives. Proposals must be no longer than 250 words.
  • Panels  – Discussions on selected topics. Proposals with a maximum of 250 words.
  • Lectures  – Presentations by well-known academic figures and business representatives. Summaries of the presentations are published in the Conference Proceedings.
  • Postgraduate Consortium  – Group discussions of individual projects and ongoing work of master’s and doctoral students. Maximum 4 pages (2,500 words).
